Multi-ligament knee injury

On 27 June 2012, I sustained multiple injuries from and IED blast while deployed in Afghanistan. I returned stateside to Ft. Bliss and underwent treatment at William Beaumont Army Medical Center under Dr. Waterman. He performed multiple knee surgeries to repair torn ligaments. Before each surgery he would speak with my wife and I to bring us peace and comfort. While in rehab and therapy, Dr. Waterman always made sure I was motivated and in good spirits. I have fully recovered and enjoy living a healthy active lifestyle.
